Mr. Fischer graduated from the City College of New York (B.B.A. – 1957), Brooklyn Law School
(J.D. – 1964), and New York University Graduate School of Law (L.L.M. Taxation, – 1968).

Mr. Fischer is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of New York and New Jersey. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Fischer is also an attorney at law, admitted to practice in New York State and New Jersey. He is a member of the Morris County Bar Association.

Mr. Fischer has been a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Committee on Federal Income Taxation and the Morris County Bar Association Committee on Federal Taxation.

Prior to the merger with Lazar Levine & Felix LLP (LLF), Mr. Fischer was President of David Fischer & Company P.A. (“DF&Co”) from 1968 through October 2003.

Mr. Fischer has frequently been appointed as a special fiscal agent, state court receiver and accountant. He has also served as a successor trustee of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) considering the sale or increase in their ownership of the employer’s business.
