Neal
J. Weisbrod is a partner and member of the executive committee of
Lazar Levine & Felix LLP. Neal joined the firm as an audit manager
in 1978 and became a partner in the firm on January 1, 1979.
Mr.
Weisbrod is the partner in charge of the firms accounting and auditing
practice, SEC services and also serves as the quality review partner.
Neal has close to 20 years experience in handling companies going
through the IPO process and in filing required reports with the
SEC.
Neal
is also the firm's administrative partner.
Prior
to joining Lazar Levine & Felix LLP, Neal was a manager with
the Long Island firm Rosenfeld, Steinman & Blau, CPA's, located
in Great Neck, New York, a firm which primarily handled not-for-profit
clientele. Many of these clients received funding from Federal,
State and City government agencies and were subject to stringent
financial requirements.
Mr.
Weisbrod received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from
Hofstra University in 1972 and has been licensed as a certified
public accountant in the State of New York since 1978.
Prior
to college, Neal served in the United States Armed Forces from 1967
to 1969 and spent one year in Vietnam where he earned a purple heart
and the bronze star for valor.
Neal
is married and has two daughters.
