Michael L. Welsh is “Of Counsel” to the Firm of Lazar Levine & Felix LLP with offices in New York and New Jersey. He has been and is presently engaged by attorneys and others as an expert in forensic accounting and litigation support engagements.

Mr. Welsh prior to joining Lazar Levine & Felix LLP has been practicing public accounting and performing forensic accounting and litigation support engagements since 1987 in his firm Michael L. Welsh P.C. which is located in Cherry Hill, NJ and had offices located in Philadelphia, PA. Prior, he held positions as a Partner and /or Director of consulting in accounting firms; and Staff accounting positions most notably with Haskins & Sells; and worked as an internal auditor within insurance and banking.

Mr. Welsh held the position of Board of Director and CFO of a publicly held company that traded on the Pink Sheets, and other non public companies. Mr. Welsh had served as an Advisory Board Member of Jefferson Bank, NJ. He has been a financial consultant for Camden County NJ financial projects. He was appointed as a Receiver by the Superior Court of NJ to oversee the reorganization of a business entity. Mr. Welsh has worked as a consultant and testified as an expert for law firms, conduced forensic accounting engagements, business valuation, defended accountants, performed fraud investigative engagements, bankruptcy matters, workout analyses and negotiations, damage calculations, including financial, tax, economic and business issues related to commercial litigation. Mr. Welsh has served clients in a wide variety of industries; men’s retail clothing, actors, professional boxers, restaurants, law firms, medical, physicians, construction, non-profits, telecommunications, advertising, insurance, entertainment, leasing and forensic accounting engagements.

Mr. Welsh is a member of the Board of Directors of the World Boxing Association (WBA). He also serves as Chairman of Finance & Audit. The WBA headquarters are located in Venezuela.

Reverend Mr. Michael Welsh is an Ordained Permanent Deacon of the Roman Catholic Church Diocese of Camden, New Jersey. He is an assigned Clergy at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception located in Camden, New Jersey.

Michael is a Certified Public Accountant in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration degrees from LaSalle College located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Michael has also taught as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Glassboro State College now known as Rowan University located in Glassboro, New Jersey; and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Accounting at Rosemont College located in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and a member of its Entertainment and Sports Committee.
