Lawrence Gotfried is a partner in Lazar Levine & Felix LLP. He is also a member of the Firm’s executive committee and is partner-in-charge of its Morristown office.

Larry is the partner in-charge of the Firm’s health care practice. Larry has over 28 years of experience in health care accounting, auditing, tax and consulting, SEC accounting, including initial public offerings, and industry experience in non-profit organizations, manufacturing, distribution and construction.

Larry was a partner with David Fischer & Company, P.A. prior to its merger with Lazar Levine & Felix. Before joining David Fischer & Company , Larry was with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) for seventeen years, the last seven as a partner. He was in charge of Coopers & Lybrand’s New Jersey health care assurance practice.

Larry received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in 1973 and his masters in business administration from Columbia University in 1975. He has been a certified public accountant in New Jersey since 1978.

Active professionally, Larry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Health Care Financial Management Association and the Medical Group Management Association. Larry has also been active in his community serving as chair of the board of governors of the Jewish Community Centers of Metrowest, a board member of United Jewish Communities of Metrowest and of the Jewish Community Centers of North America.

Larry is married and has two daughters.
