Eric Barr comes to Lazar Levine & Felix with over 30 years of public accounting experience. Eric is the former Director of Accounting and Assurance Services of a mid-sized New Jersey CPA firm. He also specializes in the areas of business valuations, complex commercial litigation, forensic accounting, fraud investigation and matrimonial accounting as well as traditional accounting and audit for the construction, transportation, retail, healthcare, manufacturing/distribution, not-for-profit, professional services, real estate, technology and wholesale industries.

Eric received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1972. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New York and New Jersey, holds an Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV) through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Eric is also a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants where he has held such positions as Past President of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants Essex County Chapter, Past Chairman of the Litigation Services Committee and Past Co-Chairman of the Business Valuation Subcommittee. Eric is also a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

In addition, Eric is involved in the community as the President-Elect of the Jewish Community Housing Corporation and as Chairman of the Financial Oversight Committee of Temple Emanuel of West Essex.
